We have received great news this afternoon on the Court Injunction requested by ISTA regarding the new teacher contract sent out to all school districts by IDOE.

Judge Patrick McCarty has granted ISTA’s complaint against IDOE and Tony Bennett for the granting of a preliminary injunction on the use of the newly adopted Regular Teacher contract. This is what we had hoped for from Judge McCarty. Judge McCarty’s decision was based upon several factors including his statement that, “ISTA is likely to succeed on the merits of its Verified Complaint…”
